Cambridge's Mount Auburn Cemetery is one of the city's most beautiful and peaceful sites. It's a great place to take in the local wild life ( belligerent wild turkeys!!?) while being surrounded by history. Some of the monuments and tombstones are so ornate and beautiful, and some are downright creepy.
...even Somerville's front lawns, though decked out in gaudy religious decorations, pale in comparison.
